Celery Juice

Celery have been shown to be effective in lowering blood pressure, improving the vascular system, and decreasing the suffering of migraines.
The crunchy texture and slightly salty taste of the celery stalk make it a perfect edible decoration to tomato-based cocktails and, when juiced, contribute even more refreshing flavor to any vegetable combination. But there is more to this popular green stalk than simply accessorizing a Bloody Mary; its medicinal properties were so well established in the ancient world that the Greek poet Homer mentions celery in his epic book, The Odyssey.

Preparing for Juicing
Simply break off, rinse and juice—base, leaves, and all.
I have spent over twenty years juicing thousands of pounds of produce and tried just about ever juicer on the market. I can confidently say that our Juice Nut Top Pick Juicers are the very best in workmanship, warranty, juice yield and juice quality. I’m nuts about these juicers!
Celery Juice Tips
If you are using a centrifugal force type of juicer, always juice the celery last because it is stringy and will clog the side of the basket, reducing juice yield and causing the machine to vibrate.
Picking Perfect Produce
Look for firm, solid stalks with bright green leaves. The more leaves, the better.
Storing Your Produce
Will stay fresh for up to a week in the crisper. Do not soak in water to firm up wilting stalks; this results in a significant loss of nutrients.
Taste Combos
Celery juice alone tastes bitter and is usually mixed with carrots or apples. Celery is great for adding a salty taste to any vegetable juices.
